Golf at Level 3

Golf and Alert Level 3 – Updated Guidelines
All of New Zealand (south of Auckland) has moved to Alert Level 3 from 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 August 2021.

The government has now officially updated guidelines for sport and recreation at Alert Level 3. We can confirm that golf is able to be played at Alert Level 3.

The regulations for golf are similar to the last time we were at Alert Level 3 however we request that all clubs read the updated guidelines. Click here to view.

We advise golf clubs to plan with caution for any golfing activity at Alert Level 3. The most important principle is to stay safe and to stay physically distant from people outside of your bubble. The health, safety and wellbeing of your staff, members, golf participants and the wider community is of paramount importance.
